Tenant empowerment
The Progress of SRO’s over the last 25 years has been often fraught with many limited chooses. In the 90’s where most of the poor were relegated to privately owned flop hotels and shelters with unsafe conditions. We fought with city hall to mandate fire sprinklers system, wheel chair access for our seniors and infirmed. We organize and built coalitions to focus on common themes we can all share in our activism for today.

About Steve
Many people are caught up in material things. They think a new car, money, clothes make them feel more important. Drugs often allow this self- deceptive soap opera to seem real until it suddenly crashes down on you leaving you empty, lost, angry and broken. In the end after the fog lifts the people left standing and offering a hand are the one's who really matter, the one's who can really care. Find soul mates who can help guide you away from your weaknesses and towards your strengths. Be weary of false gods and let your inner-self shine through. It may sound weird until you try it then and only then will you know truth and see the light and inner beauty you have to share. Its yours to give not take, share not possess, love not hate. Be strong of mind not weak of character and together we can lead the world to a better place.
